Lauren B. Kurland, Esq. joined the firm as an associate in September 2001. Ms. Kurland received a J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law in May 2001. She was admitted to practice in the second Department of the State of New York in January 2002. Since joining the firm, Ms. Kurland has handled all aspects of matrimonial and family law litigation, including custody, visitation, equitable distribution, child and spousal support, enforcement proceedings, modification proceedings and family offense proceedings. She regularly appear for hearings, conferences and other matters in Family Court and Supreme Court of Nassau, Suffolk, all five boroughs of New York City and Westchester. Ms. Kurland is a member of the American Bar Association, New York State Bar Association and the Nassau County Bar Association, as well as their respective Family Law sections and keeps abreast of all current decisions in the matrimonial and family law arena. She also attend meetings of the Matrimonial Section of the Nassau County Bar Association.
